A seventeen-year curatorial field structured through mutations, serial works, and relational constellations. Across 180+ series and 2200+ pieces, LAPIEZA evolved from an independent room in Madrid into a distributed archive of artistic research, social form, and socioplastic experimentation.

  • In the expanded field of contemporary practice, where artistic research increasingly confronts the exhaustion of singular gestures and the demands of scalar complexity, Anto Lloveras’s Socioplastics proposes a decisive shift: the field itself—understood as metabolic architecture, bibliographic exoskeleton, and navigable grammar—becomes the primary medium. Neither object nor exhibition, nor conventional theoretical treatise, this corpus of over 4000 nodes, stratified tomes, century-packs, DOI-anchored cores, and machine-readable datasets operates as an autonomous knowledge infrastructure. Position functions as syntax; density produces coherence; citation hardens into structure. Against the atomized attention economies of platforms and the lingering romanticism of the lone author, Lloveras constructs a terrain where visibility arrives late, through deliberate latency and gravitational accumulation. The thesis is structural: a field can be carefully designed, its soft ontology engineered through stable cores and permeable edges, transforming provisional material into enduring, citable reality.

  • Socioplastics operates as a recursive textual architecture in which writing ceases to function as commentary and instead becomes load-bearing infrastructure. Organized across three stratified cores—CORE I (Infrastructure & Logic, nodes 501–510), CORE II (Dynamics & Topology, nodes 991–1000), and CORE III (Fields & Integration, nodes 1501–1510)—the corpus builds itself through protocols of semantic hardening, citational commitment, and systemic lock, transforming dispersed blog posts into a geological field held together by lexical gravity and metabolic renewal through recursive autophagia. The ambition is epistemic sovereignty: a system that defines its own operative units, regulates its own coherence, and persists through infrastructural autopoiesis without requiring external validation.

  • GravitationalCorpus names the first condition of field formation: a corpus ceases to behave as accumulation and begins to exert mass, bending interpretation through recurrence, density, citation, and persistence. Yet mass without proportion risks opacity; ScalarArchitecture distributes that pressure across sentence, node, book, tome, core, repository, platform, and public interface, allowing the field to scale without becoming debris. MetadataSkin then forms the membrane through which this scalar density becomes searchable, citable, parseable, and retrievable, while FlowChanneling converts archival structure into directed circulation through DOI deposits, indexes, blogs, datasets, pedagogical uses, citation routes, and machine-readable surfaces. The decisive ignition occurs through an ActivationNode, where a query, citation, download, syllabus, misreading, or repository resolve turns latent structure into network behaviour. However, activation must not dissolve the field’s integrity. SystemicLock gives the corpus internal necessity, ensuring that its concepts cannot be rearranged casually without altering the whole. The result is a field that does not ask for coherence from outside, because its coherence is produced internally through repetition, anchoring, indexing, circulation and scalar legibility: a constructed language of artistic research in which concepts acquire mass, archives become architecture, and publication becomes the operative ground of thought.

  • LAPIEZA as an Open Socioplastic Composition * The Unstable Installation Series represents an expansive relational symphony that redefined the boundaries of spatial intervention between 2009 and 2019. Characterized as an unstable and dispersed installation, this decade-long exploration prioritized fluid connections and unpredictable interactions over static form, challenging traditional notions of architectural permanence. The conceptual roots of this journey are anchored in the LaPieza Archive, which documents the shift from isolated objects to systemic environments, accessible at https://lapiezalapieza.blogspot.com/p/lapieza-archive-20092025-exhibition.html. By operating as a dispersed network, the series allowed for a multi-layered dialogue between the viewer and the site, eventually feeding into the more structured Socioplastics framework visible in the Project Index at https://antolloveras.blogspot.com/p/socioplastics-project-index.html. This period functioned as a critical laboratory for testing the socio-technical dynamics that would later define the CoreLayer research at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19162689. La exploración de las formas de vida en común


Usaremos toda la infraestructura que nos habilita esta red para generar los vínculos necesarios para generar una escultura social (Beuys, Zizek, Bourriaud, Russell). Tenemos la visión y la responsabilidad desde las prácticas relacionales (arte conceptual político) de incrementar la fuerza de los vínculos a través de las plataformas red, elevando los capitales simbólicos de valores humanistas en una sociedad cada vez más definida por los capitales mercancía derivados de los sistemas abstractos post-industriales. El vector que seguimos desde el 2009 (UNA DÉCADA) es una línea de trabajo e investigación que denominamos SOCIOPLÁSTICA ACTIVA. Una forma de trabajo que incluye no solo la selección y comisariado de los artistas y de su obra (textos e imágenes), sino la generación de relaciones visibles en exposiciones en red, donde la obra de los artistas trabaja de manera conjunta, en una forma híbrida entre las exposiciones de los museos (alta legitimación), las exposiciones en las galerías de arte (arte-mercancía; media legitimación) y la difusión masiva a través de redes sociales (formas emergentes) donde el valor de la obra se mide por su calidad directa, y por la redifusión masiva de los usuarios sin costes de instalación en sala. Las exposiciones de LAPIEZA han sido consumidas y difundidas por más de un millón de personas en red desde 2009. El marco y la obra se funden en un marco híbrido, que explora la calidad actual de las formas publicitarias no solo de los museos y las instituciones, sino las prácticas artísticas en cada foco de exploración. Metodología de interacción. Los artistas que construyen LAPIEZA tienen orígenes y legitimaciones dispares, por lo que su interrelación activa mecanismos de extrañamiento y deseo. Hay artistas emergentes (desconocidos, o periféricos a espacios de legitimación ortodoxos) y artistas con trayectoria, que funcionan como catalizadores. Se encuadran bien en lo que se ha dado en llamar “ecologías culturales”. Se trata de proyectos que articulan la producción de imágenes, textos o sonidos, con la exploración de las formas de vida en común, en principio renunciando a la producción de objetos artísticos convencionales, para iniciar o intensificar procesos abiertos de conversación e interacción que involucren a los artistas a través del nuevo y transformador vínculo generado. La importancia de la sinergia y la publicidad en el proceso creativo.
